important decisions. U.P. Home Health & U.P. Hospice is very easy to
arrange. Whether you’re in the hospital, the doctor’s office, or your
very own living room, one telephone call is all it takes. A member of
our professional nursing staff will help you assess your needs. We will
ask you about your schedule and your family routine - what time of the day
is best suited to the care your doctor has ordered. We make visits at any
time of the day or night with 24-hour on-call Registered Nurse coverage.
When round the clock care, choreworker assistance, or caregiver respite is called for, we can arrange that care through U.P. Private Duty Services (475-4545).
Services are arranged with ease from your hospital room or from your living room. Our services are more comprehensive and as easy to access as those offered through any hospital program.. We have health care staff at the hospital every day.
A "Welcome Home" through U.P. Home Health & U.P. Hospice is convenient and easy to arrange. If you’re in the hospital or emergency room, be sure to ask for us by name, or show them your handy "choice" card, designed to fit in your wallet, right next to your insurance cards.
If you hear about us through your doctor or nurse, ask them to call us directly. We will discuss your home care needs and make all the arrangements to begin care in your home.
Or you can simply give us a call. If you’ve been wondering whether home health could benefit you, a family member, a friend or a neighbor - We’ll send a nurse to do a free in home evaluation. If you wish, we’ll contact your doctor directly to discuss the "plan of action."
